Administration and Registration
The administrative office houses Admissions, the Director’s office, student health, academic records, and Accounting. Any comments, questions or concerns should always be directed to the front office.
Parents interested in enrolling their child in Firm Foundation must first complete an Application for
Admission.. Existing, registered students are always given priority registration consideration from one year to the next during the designated early registration period. A complete registration packet consists of:
- Completed application
- Medical Information Form
- Non-refundable registration fee. This fee is also non-transferable.
- Matriculation Fees (tuition, activities fee, and book fees)
- New students must also provide a copy of their birth certificate
- A completed Immunization form (3231 form) and
- A completed Form 3300 (Dental, Eyes and Ear).
- Signed Parent Agreement
HOURS OF OPERATION
- Daily Arrival 8:00 am
- Classes begin 8:05 am – K4 – 9th
- Dismissal 12:30 pm – K4 Students
- 3:00 pm – K5 – 8th
Class begins promptly at 8:05 a.m. Monday through Friday.
Everyone enters through the main entry door between 6:30 and 8:00. However, after 8:05 the main will be locked for security reasons. After 8:05 a student is considered late and must obtain a tardy slip from the front office.
Parents may escort their child to their classroom if they arrive before 8:00. No parent is to enter the classroom once school begins at 8:00. Any concerns or questions for the teacher can be addressed by scheduling a conference or contacting the director.
Currently, all Firm Foundation students are car riders. At 12:30 pm, the K4 students will be escorted to the front office to be pick-up by their parents. At 3:00 p.m., the older students are escorted to the front office for pick-up or go to the after-school program. .
All parents must supply a complete list of all individuals who are designated to pick-up their child. If that list is changed at any time, the school must be notified in writing. Identification must be presented before the child is released.
If a child is NOT picked up by 3:30 p.m., he or she will be placed in aftercare. A fee of $10 will be assessed for this service.
Extended Day Program
Firm Foundation Preparatory Academy offers an excellent afterschool program for K5- 9th grade students. The afterschool hours are from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday of the regularly scheduled school calendar. Care is not provided during holidays or fall, winter, or spring break.
If a parent/guardian has not picked up their child by 3:30 pm, the student will be placed in the aftercare program. Aftercare includes tutorials and homework assistance for a very nominal cost of $15 per day.
Additional S.T.E.A.M. classes (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) are available to enhance the student’s learning experience. The enrichment classes consist of Math, Chess, Robotics, Renewable Energy, and private music lessons ($15.00 per class per week).
